Col. Anthony W. DePasquale

Col. Anthony W. DePasquale, 85, of Uxbridge passed away Wed. Jan. 14, 2015 in Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. He was the husband of the late Joan M. (McGlynn) DePasquale who died in 2013. A longtime resident of Uxbridge, Anthony had been employed as a civil engineer for many years. Previously, Col. DePasquale served in the U.S. Army for 36 years. He had previously lived in Marshfield. He was born August 19, 1929 in Boston, the son of the late Anthony and Madeline (Bilassi) DePasquale and was raised in Roslindale. Anthony enjoyed flying and owned and operated his own plane. He was the ultimate "Horse Show Dad" traveling throughout the country with his family & horses, and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Until this past November, he had been working part-time at the Franklin Transfer Station. He is survived by his daughters, Sandy and her husband Kevin Wedge and Debbie and her husband Robert Yacino all of Uxbridge, and Linda and her husband Joseph Mayotte of Whitinsville; 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Anthony, Nicholas, Robert and Anthony, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Dario M. DePasquale. Visiting hours will be held, Sun, Jan. 18, 2015 from 1-4 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge. Funeral services will be held Mon. Jan. 19, 2015 at 10 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Augustine Church, 17 Lincoln St., Millville. Burial, with full Military Honors, will follow in Swan Dale Cemetery, Mendon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
