Anita I. DePaolis

Anita I. DePaolis, 78, of Bridgewater died peacefully at her home Jan. 13, 2015, surrounded by family. Anita grew up in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Anita married the late Renato A. DePaolis on Feb. 27, 1958, and the two raised their family in Bridgewater. She was a devoted mother who focused her energies on her family. She also worked at the Bridgewater State College Bookstore and then as a bookkeeper for Madden Oil in Bridgewater. As a young homemaker she would donate her time to St. Thomas Aquinas Church youth activities and later in life she volunteered at the Bridgewater Senior Center for the Alzheimers Association. She was the loving wife of the late Renato A. DePaolis; and mother of Ronald A. DePaolis and his wife Vicki of Middleboro, Renata A. DePaolis of Danvers, Raymond A. DePaolis and his wife Wanda of Fla., Dr. Rory A. DePaolis of Va., and beloved daughter-in-law, Judy A. DePaolis-Feingold and her wife Lisa Feingold of Brookline; proud Nana of Renato II, Matthew, Stacia, Joshua, Caleb, Angela, Brian; and great-grandmother of Anabelle, Adam, Adriana, Siena, and Giuliana. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Funeral was held from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Monday, Jan. 19, at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater, and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
