George C. Mock

George C. Mock, of Plymouth, died January 11, at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Brighton, at the age of 88. Husband of the late Joyce (Hardiman), he is survived by his daughters, Marlene Duffy of Marshfield and Dotty Martin of Hanover. He also leaves his brother, Charles Mock of Ocala, Fla.; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Audrey Mock, and his sister, Louise Oliver. George was born in Boston, son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Cartile) Mock. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and had worked as a glazier for Shaw Glass. He enjoyed the drum and bugle corp and was a fan of the Boston Crusaders. A private service and burial for immediate family only will be held. Online condolences can be made at
