Ann F. Coffey

Ann F. (McMann) Coffey, 87 passed away peacefully at The Kaplin Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA on January 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Mary and John McMann. She was wife of the late Vincent M. Coffey, Sr. She leaves five children, Vincent M. Coffey, Jr. of Harrisville, Dennis J. Coffey of Blackstone, MA, Patrick J. Coffey and his wife Patti of Pascoag, Kevin J. Coffey and his wife Carole, of Uxbridge, MA and her daughter Sheila A. Coffey of Marblehead, MA with whom she lived with for the last 2 years. Ann was born in Woonsocket, RI on January 5, 1928. She graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1945. Ann worked for the Woonsocket School System as a teachers aide for 25 years with immense fulfillment. She enjoyed spending Summers at Spring Lake, eventually living there permanently as of 1991. She moved to the North Shore two years ago, under the care of her loving daughter. She also leaves ten wonderful grandchildren and five great grandchildren who gave her many joyous times in life. She was loved by all and touched many people over her lifetime. Fond memories will be held forever. She leaves behind her sister, Mary Gardella in Manville and her brother, Jack McMann of Cranston. She was sister of the late Helen (McMann) Robinson and Rita (McMann) Lussier. Also grandmother of the late Jason K. Coffey. Her funeral was held Monday at 9:30AM from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Patrick's Church, Main St., Harrisville. Burial followed in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kaplan Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA. 01923. (978) 774-7566
